A lovely day out in Clackmannanshire - starting with Gartmorn Dam and the sunken garden.
This circular walk is an ideal circuit - lovely views of the Ochil Hills and the sunken garden with its decorative metalwork fencing (spot the wee birdie).
Next stop Alva Glen with its beautiful waterfalls and atmospheric setting. Definitely worth a visit (and next time I will go right to the top......for some reason I stopped a bit short today before returning back down the Glen.

First weekend of September and Linlithgow is busy again - Artisan Market at the Vennel, Linlithgow Rugby Club season begins and son number 1 playing his debut for the second XV. Son number 2 making his debut at his first job - in the kitchen at Bridge 49 Bistro. Lovely weather and managed a couple of walks with Mum and Caroline, around the Loch and then around the Helix. Fantastic local environment. Even better I am now at just over 605 miles!!!
